A Trust is a business. You MUST first add the Individual who is the authorized signer for the Trust.
From your home page, click Add New Household/Loan/etc.
Fill out the top block of information for your internal use and Save details.
Click the person icon next to the word PARTICIPANTS.
Enter the authorized signer's first name, last name, e-sign mobile number and/or e-sign email. Save details at the bottom of the screen.
Click on the BUILDING icon next to the Individual's name on the left.
Enter all the required business information.
For Job Title, select Executor, Trustee, or Beneficiary*.
Use the business address that is on record with the IRS.
Click the "request tax records" box. This DOES NOT automatically send anything to your client.
Save business details.
* Note that beneficiaries can only sign in special circumstances. In these circumstances, the IRS may require legal documentation proving the beneficiary's right as a signer.
