How to use a Custom Consent Link

Use your custom link in one of two ways:

OPTION 1:

  1. Pre-fill the taxpayer details just as you do now.

  2. Check the box to Request tax records.

  3. Save details.

  4. Send your custom url in an email to your customer. When the taxpayer enters their name and confirming information, they'll be directed to their unique consent page. You will see the date they Opened and Signed their consent.

OPTION 2:

  1. Without pre-filling information, send your custom url in an email to your customer.

  2. The taxpayer will provide all the necessary information and provide consent.

  3. This will create a new case in your TaxStatus portal. You will see the date they Opened and Signed their request.
