On your home page, if the sign column is populated with a date, the request has been submitted to the IRS.
The IRS does not provide insight into their workload. Their response time for an initial request for data varies, and is not under our control. It averages at approximately 4-5 business days. It is expected for IRS holidays to slow their approval of requests.
