Delete a Loan

Remove a loan from your TaxStatus platform

Updated over a month ago

If you are approaching the start of a new contract term, you may want to clean up the active loans your team uses. The date you delete a loan matters. A loan that was active during a contract year counts towards your usage until the next contract year begins.

Deleting a loan cannot be undone. Do not delete a loan if you will need it again during your current contract cycle. Any new loans added will count towards your usage and may have a billing implication.

Click on the loan name.

Choose Delete this loan.

Confirm your selection.

Deleting a loan cannot be undone. To reactivate the taxpayers on the deleted loan, add a new loan that contains the desired taxpayers. If their consent and IRS authorization are still valid, you will be able to update their records. Otherwise, you will need to follow the steps to Reconsent a Taxpayer.
